U Bolt for Chain Anchoring & Concrete Installation
U Bolt – also known as U Anchor Bolt or Chain Hanging Bolt – is a specialized fastener designed to be embedded into concrete before installing fenders.
It offers excellent strength, durability, and resistance against corrosion in harsh marine environments.

Installation Guide for U Bolts in Concrete
- Positioning: Identify exact positions from design drawings, ensuring proper spacing to evenly distribute loads.
- Drilling Holes: Drill holes in concrete to match U Bolt size. Clean thoroughly with brush and compressed air.
- Fixing: Inject epoxy or chemical anchor adhesive, then insert U Bolt and align properly. Hold until adhesive sets.
- Concrete Embedding: Pour high-grade concrete (≥ M300), compact with vibrator, and smooth the surface.
- Curing & Testing: Cure for 7–28 days, then test with designed loads before connecting chains or cables.
