Cylindrical fender is one of the most widely used fender types installed on quay walls, jetties, or ship hulls to absorb impact energy and prevent damage during berthing or mooring. Its cylindrical shape provides excellent elasticity and high energy absorption capacity upon vessel contact.
When combined with other types of fenders such as cone fenders, cell fenders, or Lambda fenders, the system enhances port berthing capacity and improves safety for a wide range of vessels. Fender accessories (link to Fender accessories)

- Easy installation with anchor bolts (connecting the rubber fender to the inner surface of the panel), either pre-embedded during concrete casting or post-installed using chemical anchors (epoxy/Sika).
- Bolt positioning is usually supported by templates (frames) to ensure accurate installation and compliance with port safety standards.
- The frontal panel is easily installed using cranes, support vessels, and basic construction tools.
Frontal Panel Quality:
- Frontal panels are manufactured in accordance with international standards: PIANC, BV, or third-party inspection agencies such as TT3 (Quatest 3) Vietnam, SGS, etc.
- With a lifespan of 30–50 years (depending on port operating conditions), the product consistently meets absorption energy and reaction force requirements over time.
- Warranty: 3–5 years (depending on port design requirements).
