Installation
Site preparation and required tools:
-
Identify the installation position according to the design drawings.
-
Ensure the concrete surface is clean and free of obstacles.
-
Prepare necessary tools such as anchor bolts, chemical adhesive or Sika, and lifting equipment.
Anchor bolt installation:
-
If anchor bolts are embedded during concrete casting, make sure they are positioned correctly and securely fixed.
-
For post-installed bolts, use chemical anchors or Sika adhesive to fix bolts to the concrete surface. This must follow technical standards to ensure safety and durability of the fender system.
Fender installation:
-
Position the fender correctly, ensuring bolt holes align with the anchor bolts.
-
Use a crane or support vessel to lift and place the fender, especially for larger and heavier units.
-
Use specialized tools to securely tighten bolts connecting the fender to the quay surface.
-
Ensure the fender is firmly fixed and does not shift.
Inspection and completion:
-
Check the entire installation system, ensuring all bolts are tightened to the required torque.
-
Verify the installed fender aligns with design drawings and meets marine safety and technical standards.
Regular inspection and maintenance:
-
After installation, the fender system should be periodically inspected to ensure stable operation and long service life.
⚠️ Note: Installation must be carried out by an experienced technical team to ensure safety and effectiveness for the port system.
